A young mother who lives up to her title. Incredibly easy to talk to, like a friend and a mother-figure all in one. Encouraging of his pursuits and says he's a talented kid! She calls him stewball and generally thinks he's good to have around. He hopes she can get back to her son.
Started off rocky, almost bonded over music, and then Terumi had to be Terumi. Brady hates him. He laughs at the dead and other people's emotions and is just generally unhelpful. Brady tried to shut him up when Juri killed Chitoge, but all he got for his troubles was a massive headache and some sore limbs. Brady would love to just avoid the guy, but that's hard to do here.
Someone who Brady can chat with and enjoy the company of, but she's definitely a little off-kilter. Maybe it comes from being a different species? Her trial behavior unsettles him, but she's genuinely friendly and likable outside that. He's decided Aligula is a friend, despite how odd she is. He worries about her. She is determined to help with his whole situation with Mack; Brady is not surprised.
Sweet, and friendly, and rather funny, Brady likes talking to Angel. She's been dealt a rough hand in life, even if he doesn't know the specifics, and he wants something to go right for her, for once. Her heartbreaking unshared crush on Chitoge has re-inspired him to get Mack to open up to him...though it's easier said than done. He wants to be there for Angel however he can.
His and Mack's killer. Quite honestly? Fuck Walter White.
An ace detective. Rather no-nonsense, but surprisingly kind. She's from the same school as Sayaka. Kyouko's a really good listener and despite her cold exterior, Brady feels she's someone he can connect with...even if he doesn't know a lot about her. Much to his surprise, she thinks he contributes well to trials. The two of them are going to learn how to sew together.
Someone he trusted. Brady and Sayaka instantly bonded over music, and he wanted to spend more time with her. During the first case, he was the most adamant that Sayaka couldn't have done anything wrong, so it hurt even worse to learn she was probably considering him as a target. He was probably nursing a crush, but it's not like it matters anymore.
She's grouchy, but from what Brady knows of her life, she's entitled to that. It's a goal of his to introduce her to all the comforts he can, since she's not familiar with them. Surprisingly nonjudgmental about his aspirations for the future, she is a fast friend. She tends to run her mouth at the trials, but that's understandable. He's increasingly horrified every time he learns about what the world was like for Katniss. He hopes she can find some peace of justice, regarding her sister.
An actual elf. Brady's kind of stuck on that fact, but the guy seems nice and knightly. Kinda weird that he calls him Master Brady, though. Had to explain movies to him. The poor guy took Nephenee's death really hard. Now, it seems Aymeric is trying to teach him self-defense.
They seem to investigate together a lot. Inigo's friendly and has his heart in the right place, though he likes to tease Brady when he can. Still, he's definitely a friend, and he likes hanging out with him. Surprisingly good listener. They've got something in common, and that's weird time shenanigans. Inigo's sound worse, though. He comes from a wasteland and went back in time to change history...but unlike Brady's situation, there's alternate timelines involved. Brady hopes he can find somewhere he feels at home, since his own is a wasteland.
A sweet girl, far too sweet for this whole situation. Seems to get lost easily, and seems kind of shy, but he thinks she's got a nerve of steel under all that. He thinks of all of them she shouldn't have to see what happens here the most. She agreed to watch Sharpedo and Muk for him when he was too busy to.
The second victim. A sweet, shy girl who was going to make everyone clothes. Brady wishes he'd gotten to know her better.
An alchemist, but without his powers. Isaac's awkward but a welcome presence, good to talk to. Brady taught him how to fistbump and it is his crowning achievement. Called him useful on the first day, so he's pretty fond. They keep having strange, awkward conversations, which is a pretty good way to pass the time. Helped him teach Muk how to fist bump.
A dancer! An actual professional dancer! A kindred soul in the performing arts world. Jean made a great impression right off the bat, and he really wants to teach her how to surf. Jean appears to have a horrible history with violence and death, despite her general aversion to it, and she takes everyone's misfortunes very hard. Brady wishes he could help her.
Third victim. Seemed like one of the more laidback and appraochable adults, and while Brady couldn't quite connect with him, but he didn't mind him around. Of course, Flemming also started the fight that lead to Archie's trial, so his feelings on the good doctor are a lot more negative now!
Died in week three, the first retaliation. She was emotional, passionate, and incredibly good at listening to his love life problems. She seemed like a hurricane in human form, in the best possible way, and her death has left a profound effect on him. He carries the letter she left for him, always, as a reminder she was there, and in hope her well-wishes will give him good luck.
Another detective. Despite her blunt attitude, Naoto has a surprisingly kind side. Brady's going to help her make a mango smoothie for when Mack gets better.
Someone from a world where Pokémon exist?! Pretty cool. Cilan's a great cook and a pretty good piano student! Even though Brady's not an experienced teacher... Pulled his personal guitar from the ending machine, so Brady's looking out for anything of Cilan's in return. Now that he's watching over Sharpedo and Muk, Brady's sure to ask Cilan for as much advice as he can.
Third culprit, through self-defense. One of the friendlier adults around here who was easy to connect with, Brady really took to him. Archie was fun, laid-back, and caring, and really cared about the sea and water Pokémon. Before he died, he told Brady to look after Sharpedo, and he promised he would. He's going to take as best care of him as he can.
The first to resign. An actual giant? Seems incredibly awkward, but Brady wants to keep trying to engage him in conversation. At Archie's trial, Brady accused him of being the culprit so. Yeah he feels really bad about that...especially considering AZ willingly died a few days later.
Hasn't talked to her much yet, but he can tell from even a distance that Yang's a bright personality. Wants to engage her in conversation more.
First culprit, but only because Sayaka tricked him. Mallick was stressed and jittery, but Brady liked spending time with him. Things shouldn't have turned out that way. He wasn't a bad guy, Brady thinks. There's a lot more Led Zeppelin in his day-to-day routine now.
An easygoing friend and Brady's neighbor. Ferid's age makes him so interesting and fun to talk to! ...Even though he seems to put off a lot of people here. Something's odd about him, but Brady doesn't distrust him. Lately, he's been trying to help Ferid overcome his problems with blood.
They really got into it in the first trial, but Mahiru was right and Brady was wrong and he feels awful about delaying the case for so long. Doesn't seem to hold it against him? She held him back when Chitoge was killed in front of them. At Archie's trial, she seemed incredibly...energetic about the mystery. The manic fire unnerved Brady, and it appears to unnerves Mahiru herself too; she's made him promise not to trust her when she's like that, and he's agreed...but he wishes he could do something to help her.
They kind of got off to a rocky start, as Luca wanted to get Juri on their side and therefore took not very well to Chitoge and Archie's poisoning attempts. Brady cut off arguing about it, though, since he'd really rather just...not.
Surprisingly, King Bob has a lot of feelings! He kind of unloaded on Brady after the nonexistence incentive, and man, it sounds like he has a LOT of rough stuff back home going on. Not sure how to help him out, but Brady hopes talking about it did some good?
Hasn't talked to him much, but Yuri did prevent Terumi from beating his head in, so you know. Brady has a good first impression.
The second killer. A doctor with humor, and who surprisingly encouraged him on his interest in surfboard making. They seemed to have a brief bond and Brady wanted to get to know him better, but then Rideaux killed Nephenee and well. He doesn't really know what to feel about him.
It seems like in another time, they dated. They were in love, but neither of them remember more than bits and pieces. For a week there, it was super rough, as Brady couldn't ignore the feeling and wanted to just re-learn everything about her...but Mack didn't want anything to do with it. Archie's trial and the following week's memories gave them reconciliation, and while she's far from wanting to have a relationship here, Mack wants to be friends. Brady's very okay with friends. Lately, though, she's been sick. Well, of course hes going to help her out in whatever way he can. In sickness and in health...oh, that's embarrassing.
...Turns out he was just watching her die. Together in death, at least? Ha.
Scary. At first he seemed like a reasonable fellow, despite the whole overseeing them thing (not kidnapping?? someone else in charge??? no clue) but all of the supernatural things about him have Brady spooked. Not sure what to make of him. Real name, Juri. Likes, cats. Awkward to talk with...especially when you ask him really uncomfortable questions. He's given Brady some harsh but really good advice. Means he's even more confused about the guy.
After last week, this one is...surprisingly better. It kind of can't go anywhere but up since then, so. Anyway, he and Mack are talking now, and she wants to be friends. She's kind of sick right now...but he's helping her out as best he can, even though Sharpedo and Muk have to be kept away. Wouldn't want to get Archie's Pokémon sick. ...Can that happen? Whatever. The point is, despite that super foreboding motive, he's just not thinking about it. Focus on helping everyone else, on the one good thing going right.
...Or not. At least he went down fighting, huh?
